my therapeutic practice
I would like to offer you my undivided attention. You can share with me whatever is happening for you and I will listen.
It might be upsetting, difficult, stressful, frustrating. It might provoke anger, pain, confusion, anxiety and more. But whatever it is, we can work together to bring it out into the open instead of allowing it to worry you.
the first session
is free of charge
The first session is for you to see if I could be a good fit for you. During these 50 minutes, you are welcome to ask me as many questions as you wish. It is an opportunity for us to explore if we can work together, and if I can be of help to you with your situation.
our 50-minute sessions
You are welcome to tell me whatever you wish, and only as much as you really want to. I will listen carefully to your words and ask for clarification when needed, in order to better understand your experience. I will task myself to connect the dots of your story, to make sense of it, so together we can discover its meaning, explore the feelings and emotions that it provokes, and if needed, look for solutions that fit you as an individual.
I will help you to “zoom-in” on details that might need attention and to “zoom-out” of the situation to see the bigger picture. And when talking is too much, we can sit in silence until it feels okay to talk again.
my therapeutic approach
In my work I focus on a person as an individual and the way a person experiences life. As we are often forced to face life’s difficulties, we might be in need of finding a way and an inner strength to cope with complicated situations. The therapeutic support I offer can help to facilitate that process. I base my practice on humanistic theory, and I integrate elements of other therapeutic concepts.
I believe it all starts with you, for you. And as long as I work with you, it all starts with you for me too.
